Renaissance Composer

A distinguished living statue, character based on the Polish, XVI century Renaissance composer and poet, Wacław of Szamotuły (Latin name: Venceslaus Schamotulinus). He was an extraordinary man, with many talents, great influence and international fame. For several years he was a composer of vocal music of polish king Zygmunt Augustus at the royal court in Kraków. He wrote polyphonic religious and secular works to Latin and Polish lyrics.
The Renaissance Composer is a very sophisticated act, full of inspired thoughtfulness, based on slow motion and longer, meditative stops. It introduces the viewer to the world of the Renaissance study, where Wacław of Szamotuły experiences moments of inspiration, writes down notes and creates his solemn, musical works.
