Living statues by renowned Polish architects, urban planners, and professors at the Warsaw University of Technology – Hanna Adamczewska-Wejchert and Kazimierz Wejchert. The main focus of their collaborative work was developing plans for the reconstruction and redevelopment of small Polish towns after World War II. They created approximately 70 simplified spatial development plans for cities in the Western Territories, as well as general plans for many cities in Silesia and Mazovia. The city of Nowe Tychy is their life's work. In 1982, they received the Honorary Award of the Association of Polish Architects (SARP). Kazimierz Wejchert was a great enthusiast, collector, and breeder of irises. These flowers provided the occasion for the famous May garden gatherings with friends and family.
